Milan have fixed a friendly away to Manchester City on August 9 and Kaka is hoping to have fully shrugged off his knee problem by then. Brazilian star Kaka was plagued by recurring knee pain last season and was forced to go under the knife on May 23 to correct a meniscus problem.
The World Player of the Year is now having treatment in Sao Paulo in the hope of reaching full fitness before pre-season starts.
“I am undergoing physiotherapy and I am happy with how it is going,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“My knee still hurts, but I’m sure that it will be better soon and I will be ready for the pre-season camp on July 16.”
